Once upon a time I was a farm girl. . .

But now I have moved on.
I have packed up my things, spread my wings,
and said goodbye to the lovely humble abode of Logan's Old Farm.
It was a melencholy moment. . . luckily it was just a moment.
I must say though, that I am a very professional packer.
Very organized and I know right where everything is.
I guess if journalism doesn't work out,
or the dream of becoming a yoga instructor,
or my bubbling passion to become a tree-hugging granola
I could always be a mover. . .
(I am kidding)
I loved this little home away from home.

. . . . . . . . . . .

Kellie, Jordan, Ashly and I are a marathon moving team.
At nine o'clock Saturday morning our house was still a mess and boxes still lined the walls.
A little under four hours later we were celebrating the move by eating lunch at Kneaders.
Kneaders: soup, sandwich, salad place- definitely recommend.
After a long day of moving we look pretty good I must say.
Let the summa begin!

Dedicated to Tamantha.

It is FINALS WEEK!
Tami and I have been studying all day long
. . . minus lunch, pre-dinner and dinner break.
. . . and now of course, for my Blogbreak!

We got to reminiscing on the fact that our first year of college is over.
Tami is getting married, and these last four days are going to be my last with her as her roommate
I may just cry- seriously though.
. . . . .
Not to get mushy-gushy or anything,
BUT
Tami has become one of my bestEST friends-
And it blows my mind that before August I didn't even know she existed.
Thanks for: cuddling with me, talking about boys, staying up late, screaming like a mad women with me, dancing like a crazy person, laughing at me, laughing with me, pulling pranks, listening to my "problems", telling me yours, being my roommate, being my friend, cooking me food, eating my leftovers, letting me do your hair, putting up with my me, and all the other things that we have gone through together this year!
I love you Tamantha!

Welp- (like well with a hick accent)
I best get back to studyin' my little head off.

I have two finals tomorrow back-to-back in the same room.
I start at 7:30 AM then hopefully I will be finished before eleven.

Mission: Eat Food, Feed Hunger

Once upon a time there were four STARVING roommates
who didn't want to cook dinner.
The oldest of the roommates offered to buy HOT-N-READY pizza.
The other three roommates agreed.
So they were off on their quest.
The four of them decided since
because the last time they got
HOT-N-READY pizza they down one box that
this time they would buy TWO boxes of pizza
plus (+) CRAZY BREAD!
The plan was made.
The journey was underway.

Hoping in the ever trusty Durango
D4 quad made their way down 10th and onto main
where traffic was merely bearable
and even though they were growing weak with hunger
they made it - all of them.
No casualties!

While purchasing the worthy pie
the growl of our inner beings started breaking out.
Not much longer and we would have been devoured.
Turned on by the big-ones* who eat the little ones*
The pie was received.
We made a break for it dashing out the door!
FREEDOM.

Then we were faced with a choice:
1. Stop an eat the pizza on the curb of Little Caesar's (my choice)
2. Drive home and eat in the kitchen (it was growing cold again)
After quick decisions making
We saddled back in to the Durango,
escaping to the solitude of the castle.

10 minutes from walking through the gate of safety
the pizza was all but disposed of.
(Don't worry we prayed.  It was a marvelous blessing experience to say the least.)
Leaving only three pieces of pizza.
Mission: Eat Food, Feed Hunger
Accomplished!

Thanks for providing the pizza Kellie!

*Big-ones: the big fishes that eat the little fishes inside your tummy!
- My mom used to tell this to my siblings and I when we would complain about being hungry.

Today I love this song!

high five Thursday!

so sometimes I like to stay up late. .
Okay- I am not going to beat around the bush, I always go to bed late.
In fact this whole week I don't think I have been in bed before 1:30. . .
shoot.
My sister-in-law, Sandi, says something along the lines of
"Kelsie you can always do homework, but parties only happen once."
That isn't exactly how it goes, but it is late
and it is close enough.

Tonight I did study before I played.
I patted myself on the back already, don't worry!
Then my friend Keni came over.
She is pretty much amazing.  I met her in crossfit.
We played computer- took virtual tours of the places that we grew up
on Google MAPS.
Then we watched a long movie
The Scarlet Pimpernel
it was funny- well the parts I watched.
I studied during half of it. . .
Keni says the book is better
I think I will read it.

It is funny how every time I have to drive home I stay up late. . .
NOT SAFE!
Luckily for me I will have a friend for the ride.
I am kinda sad to be leaving Logan again.
It is such a beautiful place
with such marvelous people. . .
But then again
I am basically surrounded by marvelous people.
(BLESSINGS!)

Tomorrow (today) 20,000 Bouncy Balls are going to be dropped
FROM A HELICOPTER! 100 FEET IN THE AIR.
It is going to be amazing- to say the least.
I plan on taking pictures-
AND VIDEO!

Oh by the way. . .
cute picture huh!?
I think so.  We are never up this late
. . . together, on a weekday!
True college experiences?  I think yes.
AND
as you may have noticed
My dearest Tami is MIA.
The poor girl has a dreadful job at cleaning buildings
AT 4 o'clock in the MORNING!
RIDICULOUS
everyone should be sleeping during that hour.
I miss her dearly
(this is only the first week too. . . )
My poor dear.
What people do when they are in love. . .
(Oh, background: Tami is ENGAGED!  story to come soon!- hopefully. . .)

High Five Thursday!

cute huh!?

I was doing some blog "RESEARCH" and I found this cute proposal!
Now I am one who wants a small and simple proposal, but if my man thought into something this flashy I would be awfully surprised!
(haha- I am on a wedding kick!  I blame my dearest roommate and friend Tami who got engaged last Monday. . . more to come on that story!)

1:27 am

It is late.
Or early I guess.
I am tired.
I don't have sheets on my bed,
but hey- my bed is ridiculously comfortable anyway.
Jealous?
You should be.

Tonight as I was getting ready for bed I felt like I was missing something. . .
And then I remembered
I miss CHARLY, the book.
It is a sad story- this is true
but Eric has been reading a chapter to us
 from the book each night
for the past two weeks.

It all started when I wasn't going to bed in good time.
I would complain about being tired during the day. . .
SO
Eric said he was going to make me go to sleep
before wee-hours in the morning.
I told him I needed a bed time story
. . . the rest is history.

It usually ends up all four of us on one of our beds
while Eric gets into his "fatherly-story telling mode"
I love the way he talks in Charly's voice- bahaha!

(don't judge us, we are getting ready for bed!)

Oh and if you haven't noticed
Spring Break = Lots of blog posts!
I love being home! (:

dear husband. . . I did it again.

Kitchen failure #2

(in the last week. . . )

So yesterday we had an COOKIE PARTY!  it was more like a cookie open house.
I made my fabulous homemade oreos- (high-five to me) Yes, they are fabulous and for the record I have never ruined them. . . (knocking on my desk!. . .it is wood.)

I was on top of things- I successfully finished making my treats two hours before the party - look at me not procrastinating!  Then I started making a book with Eric and Jordan.

Tami and Tyson had been making applesauce cookies- for some reason they left and asked if I would put the last batch in.  Being the lovely roommate I am I did as they asked- put whatever was left of the dough onto the sheets and stuck the last batch into the oven.  Put the timer on for ten minutes and left.

(Ten minutes later. . . )
I took the beautiful applesauce cookies out of the oven.  SUCCESS!

BUT wait, there was something still in the oven. . . .
I opened the door wide and to my surprise another cookie sheet.
WAIT!  did you catch that?  I said, "ANOTHER COOKIE SHEET!"
In my mind I rethought things through. . . calculating my previous actions and I had only put one cookie sheet into the oven.
How could there be two?
Magic.
I have decided that our oven is possessed. . . it isn't my lack of skill in the kitchen.

um. . .
or it could have been that I was suppose to take cookies out of the oven before I put new ones in.
Note to self: next time I "throw" a cookie pan into the oven make sure the oven is empty of other cookie pans.

*my poor husband. . . . good thing he is going to love me!

oops. I did it again . . .

(notice: the haziness of the room, the black marks on the microwave)

Before I left for college I thought I was a good cook.
Reality: I have a lot to learn.

Today I made fried ice cream. . .
I ended up frying the house-
YES I STARTED A GREASE FIRE
I will admit it!

I have been taught how to put out grease fires before
I remember learning about it in my cooking/sewing class in middle school
. . . . .
Middle school was like six years ago.
Good thing I have Jordan.
 Now for the story:
Previous to "firing up" our kitchen
I made ice cream balls with a cinnamon and cornflake shell.
There were perfectly ready to stick into the oil.

I pour oil into a small-ish sauce pan
I figured it would be easier to handle that way
I was wrong.
I stuck my first ice cream ball into the grease . . .
and well the rest is pretty much predictable

FIRE

I was panicing!
I knew water was out of the question
(luckily I remember that much)
So, Jordan put flour on it.
The flames went down, but it was still flamin'

Mean-while the fire alarm is blaring
while Tami runs to get a chair to turn it off.

I was told to put the frying pan on it.
I did
It was still flaming
Then we realized the unit was still on. . .
Oops!
Jordan braved the flames and turned it off!

FLAMES- STILL!
at this point I had the pan of grease in my hand
sloshing it around. . . all over the floor. . .
Jordan realized that the frying pan wasn't enough
She whipped out the heavy duty pan!
SUCCESS!
To sum it all up. . .
I started a house fire
I COULD have died
and even worse
I could have had to pay for damages!
(okay, so maybe that isn't worse, but still)

Jordan is super woman and always ends up saving the day.
I always tend to make the fire alarm go off
. . . especially when we have guests

and
I smell like smoke.
The house smells like smoke.
There is a eery haze about every room

Ten minutes later. . . . Jen, came downstairs and asked what the commotion was all about.

If you would like to read the story from
Jordan's point of view CHECK IT OUT!

sleep, The lack of.

Current Song playing on ipod: It's Raining Men
Current location: Living room
Current time: 2:55 AM February 20, 2011
Notice: my hair is crazy- as I get older and older it grows more curly. . . does this mean I am going more boy crazy?  or just crazy in general?  I like it though- it makes it easy and FAST to do . . . for the most part-  Thanks head for growing hair that is a little bit wild-  It makes my life interesting and gives me a chance to mix it up! (:

Good thing it is Sunday tomorrow- I can have a nap. . . (ya right!) .  I should be in bed, but I am not tired, not that I have tried to go to bed.  I bet if I laid down I would fall asleep- o well, sleeping is good but I will sleep when I get old!
It is freezing cold in our basement- It is snowing outside and I keep hearing the snow plows drive down the road.  I bet the plow-drivers are way tired and their wives are anxious for them to return so that they can sleep well again and not rustle around restless in their beds searching for the warmth of the man that lays beside them.
As soon as I fall asleep I know I am going to have to pee-  I am currently drinking a large glass of milk to wash down the Cadbery Mini Eggs that I have been snacking on all evening!  They are so amazingly good- definitely worth peeing my bed for. . . maybe not.  Gross- sorry for that image.  For the record I haven't peed my bed since I was eight years old.  I know, that is quite old to be peeing the bed I remember begging my mom not to tell anyone- especially my younger sister.
Wow, this post
is going in so many
different directions. . .
sorry about that!

This next week is going to be huge!  My friend Tyson is running for Programming VP up at the school! Dah!  nervous!  He asked me to be his campaign manager even though I have no idea what is going on! I feel like an underdog!  Maybe, just maybe we will pull through though- my fingers are crossed!  I have been designing some things and painting signs and talking strategy with Tyson.  I think he has a pretty sweet plan and it may just work!
If you are a student
enrolled at Utah State
Please vote for Tyson!
After all every vote counts
Getting all this stuff put together is reminding me of high school-
Painting all the homecoming signs, all the extracurricular activities I did, my perfectionism. . .
Yep, just like high school. . .
No sleep, lots of milk, and a messy room.

I am so glad it is a four day week next week!
Funny side note! I am going to have a longer weekend than week!
I didn't have class on Friday and there is no class Monday due to President's Day . . .
FIVE DAY WEEKEND!

Oh- by the way I would like to announce that most of my roommates (minus one) have now joined the blogging world!
I pretty much think they are amazing and I am sure you will all love them too!
Check 'em out:
  • Kellie (look our names are almost exactly alike. . except for one letter)
  • Tami (She is my room-roommate)
  • Jordan (The smart one- 'nough said.)
We have decided that we are kindred spirits. . . It is pretty legit- just sayin'

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ONE MORE THING!
If you think my blog is even a lil' bit awesome- or at least fun to read some times (especially how I miss spell and miss use lots of words) then I think you should FOLLOW it!  I know it is a HUGE commitment and everything, but it makes me feel good!  O and if you want to share my thoughts with anyone else feel free to.

Okay- I am done now, sleep is in order. . .

my life + these people = happiness

I am pretty sure that we have found our own here in Logan.
Welcome to the home of D4 with frequent appearances of the J3 boys.
I like Logan, I love my friends and this is all new and amazing!

. . . addiction?

I have an addiction.  Well two addictions actually. . .
It is called Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator - It is going to be the end of me.

I took my first BIG math test today. . . and I learned that:

K+J(m) = K(m) < 3(100)

Translation (in English):  Kelsie + Jordan (math) = Kelsie is going to get a good grade in math and she loves her roommate Jordan who is a math goddess!

Tomorrow I have another test only this one is for Biology- I should get back to studying.  I have finally over come the "freshman" stage of college, meaning I have buckled down on my studies!  (high five me!)

I am thinking of getting involved with student government at the university.  I have been playing "campaign manager" for my friend Tyson who is running for Programmer next week!  To be honest I really like doing this kind of thing-  hm. . . I need a five, ten, fifteen, ect. year plan.  I need goals that will push my limits and demand my best.

Maybe I will major in psychology?

my Sunday post. (dedicated to Taylor)

I got a message ridiculing me for not having my regular Sunday post up earlier by my friend Taylor and so here I am catching up. . .

This week has been splendid.  I realized that school is very important and that I need to get my smart self back to work or else I am not going to look very smart on paper- if you know what I mean.  I danced like crazy, lost my voice, made food, lost my voice, and didn't go to bed before four in the morning both Friday and Saturday night (not a smart idea- I think I am going to get sick).

I think I am getting sick.  I have a sore throat, stuffy nose and my eyes burn like I have a fever.
I came upstairs to go look over my life science notes and I had a strong impression. . . (I am about to go into a long thought out, most likely chick flick-ish story so if you want GET OUT NOW!)

Lately the topic at D4 has been marriage-  (all blame goes to Tami)
When I graduated last year I was one of those girls who told everyone that marriage was far off.  I have had big dreams to do lots with my life and even though I have always thought marriage to be grand and exciting I didn't plan on it for a long time.  After all before you can get married one must first have a "someone" to marry. . . I have been close to the marriage stage of life- I thought I was in love- and I will just leave it at that.
Back to my story:
Marriage has been the hot item of conversation.  My roommates and I talk [and spend hours searching on the Internet] about cakes, decorations, colors, dresses, photographers . . . you name it we have most likely covered it.  And I am not going to lie it is a lot of fun- and too time consuming for anyone's health (especially those who aren't even planning weddings).  The planning makes me anxious, it makes me want to find that significant someone and settle down.  It makes me long for the man who will one day be so great that everything will fall into place- Things will just work. . .

I was going to write about the feelings I got tonight while reading my scriptures- but I don't think I will.  Look at the picture maybe it will help you get an idea where I was going with this post.
Despite the fact that I am sick I feel at peace.  My life is amazing.

I learned this today in Relief Society:

I'm alive. . . kicking too.

Hey look I changed up my blog for a crisp, new, clean, simple look.  What do you think.  I like it.  I think it is just simply splendid.
I go through bogging phases and well a lot of time has passed since I paid much attention to this blog so I figured I better give you all something to look at- including myself.

20 Things that I love about today:
  1. My roommates.
  2. The aching in my butt from Crossfit.
  3. Not having homework due tomorrow.
  4. Taco Tuesdays at IWA.
  5. Being on campus all day long.
  6. Getting free food at the Blood Drive (even though I couldn't donate they still gave me food).
  7. Adobe Illustrator
  8. Birthday Parties.
  9. Talking to old friends on campus.
  10. Long talks with Mom on the phone.
  11. Finding out Shay won her basketball game.
  12. Brushing my teeth.
  13. Hiding in a small bathroom, anticipating a surprise and having to go pee!
  14. The J3 boys.
  15. Coloring pictures on my phone and sending them to people.
  16. Writing in my journal.
  17. Watching the bus get stuck on the hill because of the snow (it made me laugh all day long, even if it did cause me to be late for class).
  18. Interviewing for a job I didn't want. (I am not being sarcastic, I like to be interviewed about myself!)
  19. "Good Morning" text messages - They just make my day!
  20. Having a class with my cousin Shalysse.                                                                                              (I know I added #21. because today was worth it)
  21. Not doing any of my homework. . .  yes this makes me happy for today.

Other fun facts about today:
  • I got a few emails from people complimenting me on my photography and asking me to take their pictures!!! Super excited (By the way I am going to start the process of switching my major this week.  I am going to start with photography and then possibly do a double major.)
  • D4 is currently beating the J3 boys at war-  D4 has three points and J3 only has one.
  • I get to see my mommy and my sister come Saturday afternoon and I am extremely excited!

Guess what world.  Kels is back!  I lost myself last semester.  I honestly think I went into a state of depression-  I did the whole college thing backwards. . .you know where the student gets homesick at the beginning of the semester and gradually grows away as the year goes on- well I did that entirely opposite.  I covered everything-  All my time was consumed to mask the pain of being alone in this big world. (I come from a small town. I am/was naive and jumping head first into a situation like this caused me shock.)  So when I started to gather up all my pieces at the end of last semester and tried to put them together they wouldn't fit.  I felt like things were going all wrong and all I wanted to do was run away and get back to my comfort zone.  I couldn't though- it was gone.  I felt more lost and alone than I have ever felt.  That is when I decided things needed to be done and I needed to take action to get my life back on track.
I believe that the hardest things we go through cause us to grow the most.  I believe that we are given trials to sculpt us into the servants that the Lord needs in his army.  I believe that we are challenged to prove ourselves and our endurance.  I also believe that "there is now growth in the comfort zone and there is no comfort in the growth zone." - Carol Lee J.  The end of last semester was rough-  I don't know how else to phrase it.  I tried blaming it on the weather, you know the whole "winter-blues" type of thing, but that most defiantly wasn't the case.  I had to find myself- I was lost.  It hurt, at times it felt like my heart was being ripped from my chest, jumped on by an obese kid with a pogo stick, and then field goal kicked right back into my rib cage.  Agony.  But most defiantly worth it.
I didn't realize how bad I was until days like this when I look back and think about how miserable I was.  I think about what I went through and the things I did to please other people.  It was stupid of me.  (Shout out to Katie Cowan for telling me that pleasing people is basically stupid - not directly quoted.)  I was talking to my mama on the phone today and something she said to me hit me kind of hard.  She said, "Kels I am glad you are happy again.  It has been a long time since I have heard you be this happy.  Welcome back."  I am back.  I am alive and watch out because I am kicking.  I have a lot of life to catch up on.

The end.

(Is it weird that every post I make I type it out, publish it, preview it, fix it, add a few more two-bits, preview it, fix it, publish it again, then my mom will read it and tell me something I need to fix, so I do, then I publish it again. . . and so on and so forth. . . )

I am falling in love with turtle necks.
Maybe it is the warmth from the Logan coldness.
Perhaps the modesty.
Do I need a legitimate reason?
I think not.
I think I hit the wall and now I am rebounding off-
I should be to bed.
It is 2 in the morning, and I have a ridiculously long, but fun day tomorrow!
I may feel a tad-bit crazy!

Sunday, November 7, 2010

If you can't really tell what this video is I will explain:
This video is of Eric (my FHE father) and I playing with fire.  Now I know that this sounds stupid, and someone could get hurt, but it is a grand old time!  I had a can of aerosol hairspray in the Durango and being the PYRO self I am I decided to play with it for a bit.  After torching it around we decided to spray our hands and light them on fire.  It was fun- I didn't get burning (: but Eric kind of smelt like burt hair. .
A few things I have decided this weekend:

  • NEVER play ROOTbeer pong again! (unless I practice and become flawless at winning)
  • Tyson only makes a mean man meal- (Man meals consist of lots of meat and LOTS of heat!)
  • I am starting to LOVE racquetball, I even won a game today
  • Homework is the pits
  • Naps are simply marvelous!  (I actually already knew this, but I wanted to emphasize how great they are!)
  • I love chex mix- but it doesn't mix well with the upset stomach from ROOTbeer pong- (that is why I am up so late. . . my stomach is churning!)
  • It is a great thing to have hairspray in your car, it comes in handy, not only to fix my hair, but to be used to play PYRO games!
  • Accept my feelings!
  • Despite the fact that today was a splendid, warm November day- my bedroom is ridiculously cold!

homecoming. (usu style)

Homecoming. . . for the last four years the week of Homecoming meant loss of sleep, food, energy, patience, tears and communication.  Homecoming meant so much work. . . and ya that is basically all I got out of it was the satisfaction of doing so much work to make things go according to plan.
Homecoming always meant hard volleyball practices, lots of sign painting, skit making, dancing, float building, no sleeping . . . . I was just going and going and going. . . no stopping- well that is until I would have a complete emotional breakdown and have to cry to my mom (yes, this is how I deal with my frustrations- I let a bunch of little things build up inside of me until I can't take it anymore and of an emotional crying fast while my mom rationally talks me through each small detail. . . )  I didn't really ever love homecoming.
Well college homecomings are so much different!  First of all homecoming means free food!  Every day there was at least one free meal if not two for poor starving college students like myself to enjoy.  The second thing I loved about homecoming was the dance!  Sam asked me to go with him- and for all those who don't know me I LOVE to play dress up.  The dance was marvelous Sam has great potential to become a superb dancer!  Finally the parade and the game!  The parade was fun- a pretty decent parade.  My favorite part about it all was watching the kids race to pieces of taffy and the satisfaction that each little piece gave. . .Then there was the game! Brrr! That is all I can honestly say about it!  We got there and the stands were loaded everyone excited and anxious to support our team and by the end of the first quarter all those true supportive Aggie fans were spotted throughout the stands being pelted by fierce rain drops.  (my school spirit didn't even last through the third quarter.)

The week was great!  Ending with Mark making yummy food - cheeseburger soup and pumpkin cookies, getting all my homework done before Sunday, having a movie marathon and rough-housin' just a little bit.
. . . . I guess I don't need to stress over homecomings anymore. . . I'm okay with that!

my goodness gracious!!

I can't believe this is happening to me!
Everywhere I turn the pressures are pushing down on me, not letting me escape, always threatening me. . . I guess you could say it is kind of like gravity.
I had been warned about these threats.
My cousins would tell me all about the horrors they face.
They would talk about not being able to hide or run fast enough to get away. . .

What is this threat you may ask?  Well it is the threat and pressure of getting married.
This is one of those rare moments when I wish I was a boy at this moment of my life. . . I mean no nineteen year old LDS boy is being pressured with marriage. . . so why me?
Everywhere I turn a hurricane of marriage is tossing me around and it is driving me nuts!  Ah!
I am completely serious when I say that it is everywhere. . .
So far we have received three wedding ring catalogs, every time I listen to Pandora there are wedding ring adds along with couple counseling adds.  The last few lessons at institute have been about marriage and at church there is always another girl announcing her engagement!
I constantly get asked if I am dating anyone seriously or if I have been bombarded by any RMs yet.
Give me a break!
Not all of it is pro-marriage either. . .
I can't be the first one to get married in my graduating class.
I want to get my associates degree (at least).
I want to serve an LDS mission.
I want to study abroad .
I want to be crazy college student who is carefree and wild (well as wild as I get. . . )
I want to please people with all the goals and ambitions that I set out to achieve.

For heavens sake I am only nineteen.
I have been to school for a total of half the semester.
Crazy.
I don't know what I want though. . .
What do people expect from me?
What do I expect from myself?
"Do what makes you happy."
SE Needham Rings

CLARIFICATION:  I am extremely excited to be married someday!  I am excited to have and eternal companion and to be part of the Lord's perfect plan of happiness! I can't wait to witness the miracles of life and to be a crazy, loving wife and mother!- but I am not ready for all of this right now, and whether I like it or not it is everywhere. . .

Five days later.

Wait?!  It's the weekend. . . already!?  I hate to say this, but this week has flown by, and I almost wish there were more days in the week. . . I have so much to do and so much to get done- AND I DON'T WANT TO WASTE MY WEEKEND ON THESE "THINGS TO DO"!!!

This week I have had ATLEAST three hours of homework a night- which doesn't sound too bad to be quite honest.  However, there are SO many things to do around here that it is like pulling off my finger nails to sit at my kitchen table to do homework!-  BLAH!
Notice:  I am not sitting at my desk that over looks my street,
instead I have moved to the kitchen table
due to the fact that my poor roommate hasn't been feeling well.
I decided to let her rest!
And I don't want to get sick-  Crank up the vitamin C!
There is so much potential for this weekend it is making me anxious to live it!
Friends are coming up, races are being ran (not by me!), bomb fires, night games, football games, good food, lots of fun-  Oh the possibilities are endless!

It is Thursday night- I almost forgot that I have to go to school tomorrow. . . bum!

People always want to know what I am thinking, and I can honestly say that sometimes I just don't know.  There is so much going on up there that it is hard to grasp a single topic that is swimming around.  It makes some people frustrated, others confuse, and I am completely sympathetic to them- I feel their pain.  There are always so many thoughts dripping through my head, some very complex others are just completely out there and random that they don't even make sense to me. . .

Tonight it sounds something like this:
I should go to bed.  It is really late. I need to get up early an go running.  It would feel really good.  I could sleep in the afternoon after class.  My nails are getting long.  I need to cut them.  I can't cut them I need to show my mom.  She would be really proud.  Mom and Grandma are coming up tomorrow.  I can't take a nap they will be here.  Maybe I'll seep in.  I need to go grocery shopping.  I need headbands.  Oh and honey.  What time is it, gosh if I go to bed now I could sleep for five hours.  I should probably do some homework.  I could do it during my break.  I need to read my scriptures.  I saw Bro Krebs today.  He is a funny man (breath).  Who texts me at one in the morning.  I guess it really isn't that late.  Where are my friends going to sleep this weekend.  I wonder how my roommate(s) are feeling.  I don't want to get sick.  Maybe I should get some rest.  I like riding on the back of Kalle's motorcycle.  Maybe I'll wear my glasses tomorrow.  This probably won't make sense to anyone.  I don't care.
