Spring Fever?

Sunday afternoon it was 54 degrees
Yes, it was a whoppin' 54 degrees in February
IN LOGAN none the less.
It felt like summer.

I pulled out my cut-off shorts
threw on a t-shirt
and the J3 boys joined us for a picnic on the lawn!
SPLENDID!
(I was sick with Spring Fever!)

Not even a week later we have snow
not just a skiff either
I am talking SIX INCHES (at least)

The warmth was good while it lasted.
my tulips keep me happy.

Jordan + cooking = lots of food = happy Kelsie

Next week is going to be crazy
I hope it goes by fast
I am going home next weekend!
I need to go support my LADY WOLVES
particularly my SHAY!

Besides I am her TRUE #1 fan!

two more feet!

Posted by Picasa
I have noticed that I like to take pictures of my feet.  Bahaha!
I am not one of those people who are grossed out by feet, in fact I am so grateful for them.  Can you imagine life without feet?  Gosh we are so blessed.
Today I walked up a hill
I walked to my classes
I went to the store
I stood on my tip-toes
I pranced around
I crossed my ankles
I wiggled my toes
I picked off my toe nail polish
I ran up the stairs
. . . I ran back down the stairs
I stood up out of bed
I wore shoes
I walked in the grass with bare feet
I jumped off a curb
I got onto a bus
I stood in line to get ice cream

Marvelous isn't it?

joys of Saturdays.

It was 11:35 a.m. when I finally got out of bed this morning- productive I know.
I had woken up at seven, then again at nine, then ten thirty, but I always convinced myself to go back to sleep- Justifying my actions by convincing myself it was Saturday and that I was free to do nothing if I so pleased!
I probably could have slept even longer but I I was starving and I really needed to pee- shoot.
Who cares though anyway?  I mean it is Saturday!  Ah! yes! I love sleeping in on Saturdays!  Splendid!
I could easily say that it was well deserved!
The only bad thing about my sleep in is that I can't sleep tonight! ah!

Went to a rugby game for the first time today.  Supported my friend Eric- I think we won. . . I'm not really sure how the game works, but I think we won. . .
I didn't feel very good at the game though- I was super light-headed and sick to my stomach.  Maybe it is because I slept too long, maybe it was because I was dehydrated, maybe it was for reasons that no one will ever know. . . I am feeling better now though!

The Relief Society Broadcast was AMAZING. end of story.  President Monson is a mighty man and I love him.  I wish I could listen to him speak all the time.  I know it would be well worth every second.

I spent the night paper macheing Gregory the pig, eating granola and watching a Letters to Juliet.
Such a lovely evening.
Such a lovely day.

P.S.  I love my new sandals.  Why in all the years that I have worn sandals have I never had a pair like these?  I can wear them with socks or bare foot, I could wear them inside or outside- And if I can say so myself they are beautiful!  Well as beautiful and simplistic as a sporty sandal can get!

adventure.

Adventure. I live for adventure.
I love being on the go and staying involved.
It kills me to go to school all day long and then come home just to study the night away-
I have to get out and do something adventurous.
Now to some adventure means always doing something spontaneous and crazy- however, that is not my case.
This weekend was full of adventures and I loved them all.
We took a journey to the park where we feasted on sandwiches, apples, and string cheese of course.  We flew across the sky and our shadows were eaten by little kids.  We crossed the mighty gorge and walked around barefoot!

I have learned that I love having deep conversations with people.  I have learned that at times it is hard but only true friendships can be based on being personable and "real".
I think I will study sociology.  I like watching people and I am always curious on why people do the things they do.
I live for the weekends, late night walks, playing pretend, and adventure.

Meet Mark.
He is pretty much amazing!
He pretty much knows everything!
