For some reason I keep thinking it is Friday and I feel like I am forgetting something.
I have checked and rechecked my schedule for the day and I know what is going on, but I still don't feel at ease.
Maybe I am just uneasy because my mind has been on other things than just living in the moment and taking each day for what it is worth. I highly disregard doing this, but I can't help it. Don't worry all you curious people out there- "other things' will be revealed in a few posts to come so stay tuned.
Maybe I feel uneasy because I am not living the fast-paced college lifestyle that I was used to, so the idea of having free time throws me into a panic.
Or maybe I just feel uneasy because I am forgetting that today is Thursday. . . yep, that is probably it. At least I hope that is it.
PS. It is kind of funny to watch myself blow dry my hair. I need to think of another name for blow drying, because 80 percent of the time I am using the little handheld device to warm my body.

Toe Cleavage. . . Need I say more?
I think toe cleavage is funny
so when I wear shoes that give me said cleavage
I laugh all day long.
I woke up and wondered what day it was-
It is summer and the day of the week isn't really relevant during these few months,
But when I realized it was Thursday I was astonished.
This week has come and gone so quickly.
And then it hit me. . .
In less than a month I will know what my plans will be
for the next six, 12, 18, 24 months of my life.
EXCITED MUCH.
Here's to a lovely Thursday you wonderful cusses.
Cheers!

hello Thursday, welcome.
Hello Thursday,
I really don't have time to be writing this. In an hour I will be giving a presentation and then I won't stop until I lay my head down to sleep. . . Sleep? What is sleep?
I have ran and ran all week long- and I love it. I enjoy being busy and productive and all that good responsibility that comes with it.
However, I am tired.
This day though, it is great. It is Thursday of the last week of school. . . I have almost made it. I can see the finish line in the clearing.
It could be the last week of school for me for a good 18 months or so-
that fact kind of scares me, but I am embracing it.
I went running this morning. My body hated it, but I knew that I could push through- I had to push through. And because I did I feel strong, I feel like I have defeated weakness. And that my dear Thursday is a powerful feeling.
English was cancelled. Thanks to my Professors child who decided that yesterday was a great day to be born. I really needed that extra time to finish my paper that was due today.
Institute was inspiring, invigorating and other words that start with "i" like. . . i-mazing and i-wonderful (this is not my attempt to steal iPod's glory, but "i-mazing" does have a ring to it).
I hit that "loopy" point when I get so tired that everything seems funny-
(to all the people who witnessed my craziness on my way home from school: bare with me, it has been a long week)
Mom called. We had a long chat and laughed a bunch as she brought me up to date with everything that is going on down in the land of sagebrush and grey mountains.
I love her.
There is just a buzz in the air that makes me want to giggle. . .
or maybe it is the Coke- caffeine does weird things to me.
That being said:
Today is just wonderful.
Thank you for being so great Thursday.
Love,
Kelsie Mason

Thursday Tunes.
It has been a while since I had some tunes for Thursday.
I found this beaut and decided to share.
I found this beaut and decided to share.
Being a writer I have been taught to avoid cliches like the plaque. . .
That being said - my life is currently full of them.
"when it rains it pours"
"an apple a day keeps the doctor away"
"don't tempt fait"
"don't burn your bridges"
"don't put all your eggs in one basket"
"to each his own"
"you gotta put your foot down"
"make like a baby and head out"
"buckle down"
"go with the flow"
. . . . . I could go on- there are lots.
I have a chronic eye-blinking condition.
This is funny- you should laugh now.

Truth:
the TRUTH is:
I like progressive pictures. . . hence all my collages
I love dancing.
When I think of him my heart skips in circles and I forget how to breath regularly.
Eating vegetables is a hobby of mine.
I want to be a yoga instructor someday.
I have NO IDEA where or what I am going to be doing six months from now. . . and that causes me slight anxiety.
I have listened to love songs for the past two weeks just to celebrate Valentine's Day. . . and even though the holiday is over- I am still swooning in the tunes.
Chocolate is an evil addiction . . . and I am an addict.
It snowed and I wasn't very happy.
I miss falling asleep on sun-warmed cement right after teaching swimming lessons in the summer.
I love just "going on a drive" to anywhere and nowhere.
People-watching is one of my favorite pass-times.
My feet never stink. You can smell them if you don't trust me.
Secretly I wish for spontaneous adventures.
I practice writing my name in class when I get bored.

It is an indescribable kind of love.
I think people are beautiful.
Uniquely beautiful.
Couches line the hall where I sat studying.
Hymns seep through the walls of different classrooms creating a sound of glorious chaos.
I plug my ears to concentrate on the text. Soon the music would end and a Spiritual silence would radiate inside me again.
I decided to study in the LDS Institute this afternoon because I wasn't ready to face the rain that hadn't stopped since early this morning. And to be honest I enjoy studying within the safe walls of this large building.
Being the prepared college student that I am, I planned ahead and packed a lunch this morning. When the hunger pains stung the hollow depths of my stomach I pulled out my ham and cheese sandwich, complete with mustard, red pepper and lettuce. Yes, I am a huge fan of this lunch.
I wrapped my left leg underneath me and sat ready to devour my hand-held deliciousness.
The first bite was splendid.
But as I chewed my mind wondered away from the flavors that were being absorb into my mouth and focused on the events going on around me.
Class had just gotten out.
Spirit enlightened students were filing out of classrooms.
So many students.
I couldn't help but watch them. All of them.
They are so different, but we are so much a like.
When I watch people I try predict their story. I make up stories of where they have been, where they are going. I think of them as if I know who they are and that we are life-long friends. . . and in my mind we are.
As fast as they came into my field of vision they were gone again.
These friends of mine, who in all reality I don't even know their names. . .but they are beautiful and I love them.
Have you ever felt such an indescribable love for someone that you don't even know?
I love these people.
I love them so much that I drew them.
I don't want to forget them. Ever.
People are beautiful.
These people.
Heavenly Father's people.
Uniquely beautiful.

Dear Thursday:
Dear Thursday,
I think you are great. Even though last night I had dreams of tornados- continuously tossing and turning. Today I am going to treat you well because you have given me the opportunity of today- a day that can never be re-lived. There will only be one Thursday like you, and you will never be replaced!
So, thank you for sharing your lovely blue sky and nice weather with me- it is simply perfect!
Cheers,
Kels
I usually wish people Happy Wednesdays, for various reasons, but today is Thursday and Marvelous-
I don't want to still Wednesday's thunder, so for today I am wishing you all a Jolly Thursday!
I am off to work now! I get to go paint my pool! I am truly excited- no sarcasm included, I am being dead serious right now!
