Oh, summer.

I live in the middle of nowhere.
Which is perfect for getting lost in starry night skies and running through corn fields.
The summer sun kisses my cheeks and stains my hair with sunshine.
And I can go swim in the canal whenever I very well please (just don't swallow the water).

But today there is something missing.
Today in this wonderful place of mine I feel nearly empty.
And as I drove home from work with country music playing on one of the only radio stations it hit me.
I am missing a summer love.

O the agony right?

What is a girl to do?

I thought about writing about bouquets of sunflowers, dirt road drives, slurpies, water fights, and picnics, but I don't want to get too gushy for you tonight.
