Tonight was our Cheer Banquet. It was different than it has ever been. This year at our cheer banquet the girls wanting to be captain gave a short speech before the rest of the squad could vote. We are also doing captains different than any other year. This year there is one head captain who is over both squads then a song captain and a cheer captain. Giving my speech I was kind of nervous, but ya know I think I did pretty good, I just spoke how I felt.... Anyhow the results are as followed: Sidney is Cheer Captain, Chevia Song Captain, and I am over-all.... I have mixed emotions, don't get me wrong I am really excited and ready to take charge and be the best Captain I can be for my squad, but it is a big responsibility and I just hope I serve well.
Senior year.. the year of lasts. I'm really excited that I can finally say I'm a senior, but man has it gone by fast. It is a bitter-sweet time for me. I feel ready to move on to bigger and greater things, but at the same time I want things just to slow down.. I at least want my memories to last forever!

Congrats on getting captain! That is exciting! My senior year we had two captains, and I was one of them. It was a lot of work, but so much fun! You will do great! Enjoy your last year, IT FLIES! Too bad we never got to cheer together huh :(
Way to go Kels! I remember when i was a senior, i cried so often, "it is our last home game, it is our last bus trip, it is our last this, that, and whathave you"! LIVE IT UP!!! This year will go by so fast for you. I can't believe you guys are seniors. I met Tanner at his 5th Birthday party back when Jake and I were dating. And now you guys are turning 17 this next year. Crazy!!! You are such a great example Kels, and all those girls look up to you! Even my little girl looks up to you! Keep it up, you are just a sweetheart!
